The Bitter Myth Revealed

Okay, so IIT-JEE is considered to be the most dreadful engineering entrance exam that India has ever had. But to be frank, its all a myth. JEE is actually piece of cake, but the much hyped coaching classes make it all the harder for aspiring students. First off all they charge exorbitantly high fees which of course the common man cannot afford. So, the offspring of the common man thinks that he just cannot crack JEE as he cannot go to the best classes that is out there. Personally, I feel that there is not even a need of coaching classes to prepare for JEE. The internet is an free open encyclopedia and there are people all over the internet more than willing to suggest students the perfect books needed to be carved into an IITian.
I gave my IIT-JEE two days back, and I felt that it was the most easy exam I ever had given till now. Yes, I did had joined classes for the preparation but that didn't help me a lot! All that matters is the preparation you do when you are not in the class. IIT-JEE tests your will and determination more than knowledge. Yes Knowledge is important and you have to give some time for it, but its not all that matters. If you have the courage to Crack JEE you gradually will.
The six hour crucial exam is a lot to go through and most parents wait outside the examination hall all the six hours, which makes the students all the more nervous. If you want your kid to crack JEE, give him some space for Christ sakes! Coaching classes have to earn their income one way or the other so they resort to all sorts of means to make their classes an inch above the rest. There were caravans standing outside the examination centre for students to rest during the two hour break. These were fully equipped with Air Conditioners and stuff. Another classes gave out solutions of the first paper increasing the Rat Race among them. I do not wish to name these classes as I don't wanna have any trademark copyright issues. Its all about Business for these coaching classes. They seldom think about the turmoil the students are going through.
All I want to say is, If you wish to Crack JEE, you can start being simple and do it from your home.

India Against Corruption

The other day I was walking down the street when I found a piece of paper lying helplessly on the ground. It looked like the Indian National Flag. I picked it up, and took it home. Today, that small paper flag is fluttering proudly in my home. The thing is, people are becoming careless day by day. Okay, so India won the world cup and people were rallying on bikes carrying flags everywhere. But that doesn't mean that one is just supposed to put some on the ground if not purposely.
Recently, Anna Hazare has revealed the Jan lokpal bill which recommends police officers and politicians to be questioned if caught being corrupt or similar. People are down the line fasting with him. But I think its the Indian Youth that needs to be educated on these terms to stand up fight. Personally, I think Anna Hazare is doing a great job. He needs lots of supports, join him and let our country change once and for all.

The Much Hyped Cricket Match.

I don't understand why is this extreme crazy for an India V/S Pakistan match. Its not that cricketers are going to carry weapons in the stadium and kill each other. Its just a cricket match which happens every other day. The only difference being that the match is between India and Pakistan. People have flocked all the way to Mohali blocking airport runways to watch the much hyped match.

Today, one day before the match, I wonder what must be the feelings of all those cricket crazy people spending thousands of bucks to buy tickets in black. Of course you wouldn't get a ticket available today. Well, if you are willing to spare a few thousand bucks, you might as well get a ticket. You never know. Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan have been roped in to watch the match. Does that signify peace between India and Pakistan? Well, peace is only possible if the match turns out to be a draw. Even chief ministers, and every other VIP that is out there will be present in Mohali on the D-Day to watch the India-Pakistan match. I suppose, 80% of the tickets have already been booked by the VIPs. 20% for the general public. Anyways its a lot better to watch the match on a TV, now that all sorts of Television cable companies are providing HD 1080p clarity, which I bet you won't get in a stadium even if you pay 15 grand for a ticket. The boxes might get that facility, but the common man sure won't.

Now that all the VVIPs are going to gather there, the Mohali police should increase the security ten folds. An event like this could be an easy target. The business of People on News channels is increasing day by day. Personally, I feel they talk all sorts of crap over there. Lets see what happens tomorrow. Let India win.

Regal controversies

Okay, so Australia lost the match today, and I thought this would be a fairly nice topic to blog about at 23:13 hours. I have a trouble finding topics to blog about in my blog. Seriously. I wonder why. Frankly speaking, the game of cricket has never really caught my interest. That maybe because I do not like to even play cricket, yeah because i suck at it. Every time I am on strike, I am out for a duck except those times when the bowler is extremely generous or  a toddler.
I still do not understand the craze India has behind an Indian cricket match. As soon as the match was over, my television screen was filled with people throwing off their T-shirts and flaunting their family pack abs. No one is interested in watching that but that signifies the happiness they have for India winning the match. I doubt if any other country in the world has that kind of patriotism among its people. India is the only country where you can see this happening. If India keeps this level of patriotism constant apart from only cricket India could do wonders for itself. Warren Buffet was welcomed to India on a grand scale with the richest Indian not opting for philanthropy. I guess, donating is not just some Indian's blood. All they want to do is earn money and splurge it off living in enormous castles made by poor humans who hardly makes ends meet. We have numerous billionaires in the forbes list, though some are willing not to spare a penny. Controversies are sure to arrive at their doorsteps no sooner "The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation" has hit the floors. Lets see what happens with their regal lifestyles. Now I have wandered off the topic a lot, so its time for me to go to bed. You guys keep reading though. Alright people. :)

Inevitable death.

The other day, I was sitting in the comfort of my home watching television. Seriously The Idiot's box is full of shit, but still people love watching it. I wonder why (even I watch it though). Bored of the same old movies and songs and flashy commercials I turned my head to the other side of the room. The Balcony. It feels so good to even just look at the greenery. Especially when it can be seen from the comfort of your home.
While watching at the trees and lush greenery, I noticed two sparrows(probably a couple) chirping and playing joyfully. That scene still flashes my brains.. I was watching them for a long time and never got bored. They were so entertaining, going from branch to branch, window to window, and playing hide and seek. After all that play, they started collecting twigs and grains for their nest. Then they disappeared.. I went back and sat on the couch thinking how the sparrows might be communicating with each other.. Fifteen minutes passed by and I suddenly heard the loud chirping of a sparrow right outside my window. It was frantically searching for its soul mate. Even I came to the balcony out of curiosity to find the missing sparrow but in vain. On returning back I saw dark tiny spots all over the wall. On going closer, I found the body of a sparrow beheaded and fallen helplessly. I was shocked! The head of the poor sparrow might have been ruthlessly cut by the blades of the fan. It was dead. It's head was lying a few feet away. I was so shattered. Seriously, I hadn't seen death so closely even if it was a poor insect. I was sad, I didn't know what to do. I picked it up gently with a piece of paper and along with its head and took it to the balcony. As soon I was keep it there the other sparrow came swooping towards its heavenly soul mate. I went close to the sparrows, the sparrow refused to budge. Usually when humans go towards sparrows, they just take off. But this was different. I watched closely. The sparrow was trying to wake the sparrow as if it was just in a deep slumber. Tears rolled from the teeny eyes of the sparrow. It was chirping frantically and crying. I could make that out from the type of chirps. They were not joyful, they were mourning. I felt very sad for that sparrow.. I wanted to do something for it, but what could I have done? I thought about burying it but the other sparrow just didn't let me come near its soul mate. Even that small creature was not afraid of a being 100 times larger. I got to know the meaning of true love that day.
The next sight that I saw was astonishing. I didn't hope for it. The sparrow called out its friends and family and there came a huge bunch of around 15 small chirping grieving sparrows. All of them were so well organised. Two sparrows came and held the head of the deceased sparrow and flew off. The rest caught hold of the paper which had the dead body of the sparrow and flew. The most grieved sparrow was behind them all and this was leaded by the two sparrows who carried its head. I wonder they took the body of that sparrow for a proper sparrowian burial which humans couldn't have done better. My home in the sparrowian was a devils' home for them now I suppose. :(
That day I learned, death can't be stopped. Whatever happens is the will of the almighty. I also realized, true love knows no boundaries....

Billion dollar Idea

One small idea can make a difference. Mark zuckerberg had only a simple idea of connecting people together. Bill gates had a simple idea of making a system which works in computers. Steve jobs, and many great people had just a simple idea. They seized the opportunity and now they are on their best possible positions. You just have to figure out what is that one thing that'll make a difference. Okay, so I am writing many blogs at one go. I just can't handle the flow of ideas at this moment. I have a lot of entrepreneurial ideas coming up now. OMG! i have to write them down, who knows which one'll work out.
Every other simple idea can make a difference, you got to have that vision. :)

The pursuit of happYness

Happiness is one quality which not everyone is able to carry on for a long time. Especially all humans in general. Human emotions vary from person to person. I have met people who are always sad, think negative, are envious, rude, proud, greedy, selfish and they have all other vice qualities are there in that person. Of course all these bad qualities are not in one person, but you can easily find such a person. I have met all these kinds of people, most of them are also acquaintances while some "friends". They are good to me, so am I. But who knows, when they'll turn my back on me when I need them the most. Well, I make friends with every other person I meet. :P Well, that's me!

Though, In all these years, I have never even once met a person who is Happy, and who possesses all the good traits. I wonder why? Why do people always tend to be jealous, selfish. I am still in search of a person who is forever happy, has no greed, has a positive outlook on life, and is a good person overall.
Happiness is one hard trait to follow. People tend to be sad when they don't get what they want, when a wish of theirs is not fulfilled, I say why be sad when you can be happy. Be happy and think positive, figure something good out of the bad that happened. The Almighty is watching and I am sure, whatever happens always happens for good. If you are a Atheist and don't believe in an external power ruling upon us, think of it this way. Sadness is just temporary, but being happy makes your life and those around you beautiful and pleasant. Swami Vivekananda was one such person with all the good traits in his life. I can't think of many such people right now but only a few people can manage being happy always. I am trying to be one of them and so can you. You don't have to be sad for any reason. Be happy and if you feel sad confront yourself and think that you can do better next time. The movie "the pursuit of happyness" is a great movie too. Watch it someday, I assure at the end of the day, you'll be a lot more inspired and motivated. :) Keep reading.
Alright people. :)

Uncertain Life.

I always used to wonder what am I going to be after i grow up, what shall i do after i finish school? After i finish college? That question always used to haunt me. Whenever i used to sit studying, I would just spend hours gazing at the wall thinking what am I going to be in the future. When I was a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut. I wanted to "drive" the rocket all the way into space. I wanted to work in NASA, but there was one thing stopping me from riding the rocket. I wore glasses. I later figured out people who wore glasses had no place in riding a plane but they still had hope in the research field. So, I inclined towards research. I wanted to work in NASA. It was my dream. Then i figured out, that there is a space institute in India itself called as ISRO(Indian Institute of Space Technology). Then, there was a feeling of patriotism in me, and i wanted to join ISRO. I used to think about making some futuristic airplane and discovering new planets. I know these are two different fields, but I didn't know about it at that time. I was in the third grade! So, since then I had decided to do something in the field of outer space. Later, when i was in the tenth grade i found about an extremely brainy but helplessly crippled person known as stephen hawking. I started reading books about him. I enjoyed the way he described outer space.

By that time, I knew I wanted to achieve something to achieve something in this field. Then somebody told me there is not much money in this field. That came as a blow to me. How can i support my parent's if I don't earn a sufficient amount of money. This question struck my head. I was haunted by these questions for some hours. Just after that i realised about the owner of Facebook (Mr. Mark Zuckerberg) a potential billionaire. He had already made it to the Forbes list with a fortune of 6 billion dollars made from scratch and brains. That was it. I wanted to be a young teen entrepreneur at that very moment. I gave keen interest in computers from that day on. I knew pretty much about computers, but not as that much as some of my friends (rajat and rohan) knew. Yes, they knew pretty much. I asked them a lot of questions and started learning html. Html is great at first, i started liking it, but then it got boring. During this process i came across a blog, i don't actually remember the link right now, but it said, "If you want to be happy with your life, do that what you love doing the most." This quote struck a chord. I began thinking what did I like doing the most, and enjoyed while doing that. I went into a flashback. I recalled all things from when I was a kid, and all the things i loved to do. Well, they include a number of dreams from being an astronaut to a soldier to an entrepreneur. The blog also said that,"If you wish to be an entrepreneur you have to figure out what you like and keep on doing that, If it is of any worth making money, It would surely pay off pretty well."

At that point in my life, I realized that I love writing, even though I do not write that good to be awarded the booker prize of the year, still I just love writing. It is through writing that I can express my feelings to my friends and this world. This led to the creation of this blog. I guess I have already figured what Life is. Life is an uncertain path. You never come to know where it'll take you. Though, I still like to explore about space and I read every other article on Entrepreneurship. New business ideas click my brain every now and then. Who knows I might as well be an entrepreneur or a space scientist. But right now all I want to do is write. I am still not sure whether writing is my future, but I sure love doing what I do. I don't know where I'll go in my life, but I'll keep on doing what I love to do the most. Write. If you people have not yet figured what are you supposed to do in your life, never mind. Just keep on flowing the way life takes you. It is a beautiful journey. Life is very uncertain, you never know when it'll bring gardens or caves in your life. But you are supposed to keep going on, who knows? on the next turn you might turn out being a billionaire? :) I am sure you'll figure out soon enough the one thing which you are made for. That one thing which will change your life. Drop in comments if you liked the post. Keep reading.
Alright people. :)
