I've been through a lot lately, and I do not have words to express it as of now. As of exams, I have only 3 days left for my exam and I didn't start. As of now, I do not care about exams. Exams come and go, it is the knowledge that matters. Worry not, and thy shall succeed is my new found motto. Let's see how far it can get me. For those who log in to read my blog at least once a day, I'm really sorry folks. I actually have no words to type, plus my internet connection has been barred from the college because I was downloading a Discovery TV series, on "How Stuff Works". Until further notice, and with a heavy heart, I bid my readers adieu :(
A first person view, of My life, Engineering and The RC phase shift oscillator=random shit. Fact or Fiction is up to you to decide. ;)

A honest reply?
"The world, wants us to change." These are the first words that ring in my head, when I get up late in the morning and see my room mate getting ready to go to the library and study. With only 10 days left for the final semester exams, I wonder what is going to happen of me, and my dear brothers who follow suit. While waking up, a friend comes and asks me to clean his phone infected with virus. So, as a gesture of kindness, I take out my laptop, scan his phone with the antivirus, and hand it back over. Then, was the moment when Ajith (the friend I described in "About a Friend" told me I had made some errors in my previous blog post). So, I rectified it in a moment or so, and started wondering at the number of comma's I have used in the blog post. It is truly a large number. That started me thinking, comma's are used in every other language, be it English, Hindi, Marathi, French, Russian? I'm not sure about Kannada though. Also, I do not want to dedicate a whole post only about Comma's! So, people I need feedback! I need to know, what do you like to read? What keeps you on the edge? What will make you come to my blog every single hour of the day? Or atleast every single day? I love to write, that is true. But what is the point in writing, if people do not read it? Or if people do not like what I read?
You, yes you right there reading this post must comment what you want me to write. So please do me a favour and type everything that you want to read in the comment box, or in the facebook page, because I cannot read minds. :P Peace out.

Confessions Of A Blogaholic
Sometimes I wonder how life takes its treacherous plans, executes it on
us, and does not want to tell us, about what happens next. What has my life
amounted too? All of those 19 years of useless ranting around, watching TV,
movies, wasting time eating, sleeping? Doing, thinking, wondering stuff, that make
no sense. Until some years back, when the keyboard started making sense to me,
when life came like a puzzle, half solved, when I couldn't resist to type, not
because I wanted to type, but because I fancied people in fancy Hollywood movies
and the speed with which they type. No, I did not attend typing classes,
neither did I practiced typing. All I did was chat on Facebook, day and night,
with friends and strangers alike. I started typing a lot, chatting with people
from Hawaii, Boston, England, Canberra, New York, and people from different
time zones all around the world. Their English varied, and so did the
politeness, the way they type, the way they express themselves. Having gone
through all that, now, I could pretend to be a smart ass guy from MIT, Boston,
or a single working mother from New York. Moreover, pretending to be a Chinese
person is effortless, as far as the other person does not turn out to be
Chinese.
As far as my English is concerned, people find it hard to believe, but
watch 3 Hollywood movies a day for a year, and your English would
be appreciably fluent. Well, it worked for me. One good thing about
the Television set, and all the movies I have watched so far. Blogging, on the
other hand came as an interest to me all of a sudden. I did not learn to type,
but I learned in the process of making new friends. The only reason I type, is
because I feel better, when I put all that I'm thinking on a keyboard with a
memory or a piece of paper. Writing with a pen never fascinated me, given my
bad handwriting, but writing on the keyboard always does.
Now, as the clock strikes 1500 hours on the 5th of December, 2012, I'm
not wasting my study holidays studying throughout the day. But instead, I'm
doing what I love the most. Blog post. There are only 11 more days for the
semester exams to start, and I know I've to study, but I've not yet started,
because I could not start studying without typing all this onto a valid
keyboard. Exams, what they do is, get into the brains of the people without a
strong will, and make them study 19 hours a day, which ultimately takes a toll
on their health. Give it a rest, maintain a strong will, and study one day
before the exam, watch miracles happen. Because, it was meant to be this way, I
do not know what happens next, whether this post becomes an Internet sensation
or the world ends on 21st December, but I try to make sense of it
all, because I believe, LIFE was meant to be.

A review ( The Suraj Hotel, Moodbidri)
So, tired of all the food eating in the mess. We decided to try something different and go eat in The Suraj "International" Hotel which recently opened its branch in Moodabidri, a small town 30 kilometres from Mangalore. Well, after persuading all my friends to go there and try something to eat, they agreed and we were on our way.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by numerous people in black coats and ties, and they guided us towards a seat. Pretty good start, I must say. I do not have much knowledge about the stars that hotels get according to their neatness and luxury or whatever. So, with great contemplation, I finally asked my know-it-all friend, Karthik, whether this hotel was 3 star hotel? He gave me a weird look as if I asked one of his kidneys to donate( this is a movie dialogue, I can't remember which ). Yes, so he enlightens me about how hotels are rated, according to the cleanliness and stuff, how every nook and corner of the hotel should be cleaned, unlike the corner of a window pane in the hotel which was noticeably unclean, and how the tables should not be numbered like the latter hotel did it. Thus, it turns out that this Hotel has no stars but still a fancy restaurant to eat. Good food. Good service. No tax. I especially loved the plate arrangements with fork and spoons and the glass arranged symmetrically throughout the table. Plus, we can eat non veg on the same table, with our beloved pure vegetarian friend because they have separate vegetarian kitchens! The food is not priced too high, nor too low, nor average. You could call it a little much more above average.
The overall experience was good, just before an argument between my friends, about how in 'Burj Al Arab' they'll make you any dish you order provided you give the recipe, but then another friend argued how could they make it if we do not have the recipe and we still want to eat the dish. Well, without doubt the latter person won. Here's an image of the symmetric arrangement of the table. It is pretty impressive (in the ambiance of Moodbidri at least). Keep reading folks. ;)

Lab Bonanza
I finished my AEC lab internal exam with much difficulty as it goes. Apparently, I got the easiest experiment among all the experiments, and then again the easiest of the bunch of easy experiments, still the output was obtained when there was only 15 minutes left to the deadline. Seriously, how do they expect us to get the right output with all the wrong components? I got a series clipper circuit, that being a very simple connection, all I had to do is use a diode, a 3.3K resistor and a power supply along with some connecting wires to obtain the required output on the CRO. But, the components not being up to the mark, as they say it, I had to change the diodes and the CRO two freaking times! If I had to change it once more, I'd have considered doing it without the breadboard! So, now that the lab is over, I have no regrets, because in the end I got something which could be considered as the output. And the external seemed pretty okay with it and with the viva voce as well. It all went good, considering the party we had the previous night on account of Karthik's birthday. :P and well, the picture attached is not my experiment, but clearly depicts some IC on a bread board. :P

Inexpensive Hostel Birthday Cake :D
So, it hit me, "What if we don't have a cake?" looking at the banana and apple on Shreyas's table, we could make a birthday cake dish, out of the world! So, armed with Vijesh's white plate (the base of the cake), some almonds, raisins and a rose syrup concentrate, we ended up making a 100% pure vegetarian cake fit for all and even cost effective. The best part was the dressing on the cake, with blood red rose syrup waiting to be slurped and licked upon. No doubt, the birthday was over whelmed provided he was told that there was no cake for him that night. We all relished the cake, but Rashmit did the most. So, a tip for all those who forgot to bring chocolate cakes for their friend's birthday, some fruits could do the trick. ;) Now, I'd have to go back to studying given the AEC external practical lab tomorrow morning at 8. Happy Birthday Karthik! :D Keep reading folks. :)

Infamous Chicken Noodles.
We hail from a city where Chinese food is present in every nook and corner of the streets. Thus, when we come to a place where people have just invented Chinese food, the hunger to gobble it down the moment I see it, never stops. Plus you get cheap Chinese food over here. In Mumbai, if you ask half a plate of Chicken Fried Rice or Noodles, they'd straight away tear a bill of 50 rupees in your name! But here, even a full plate of Chicken Fried Rice or Noodles cost 44 rupees. What we usually eat is Half plate Chicken noodles. The usual food every student of our college eats, except some people ( pure vegetarians, my room mate, etc. )
Earlier, the hotel from where we eat used to test our honesty. All we have to do is go to the kitchen and tell what we need to hog on, and then pay at the counter. But, human nature as it is, most of them go home without paying, so the very smart but rude owner of Hotel Ramakrishna found out a new " COUPON " system. Where we have to pay first and then take food from the counter. Hence, the owner gets more money in his pocket than usual. One more aspect of the owner, my blogger friend Shreyas Bhat pointed out, is that almost every other work in the hotel is done by the owner including cashier/cook/cleaner/bouncer. Yes, Bouncer, he calls people who haven't paid back and shouts at them as if he just stole his life away from him. In other words, he did. Well, apart from that, there is nothing around our college that fills up a students stomach better than a Half Chicken Noodles from RK, or sometimes a Kebab to make the dish more luxurious. Yes, Kebab is indeed a luxury with 12 rupees a piece. Earlier they used to charge 10 bucks for a piece. I know, for most of the rich people reading this, 12 rupees might see trivial but ask those who stay in a hostel and they'll tell you the importance of money. Moreover, ask my friend Abhilash Shetty, he's pretty good at explaining things. ;) Here's an attached image of Half Chicken Noodles with and without Kebab, costing Rs.34/- and Rs.22/- respectively. :D Yes, one more thing, the taste of this noodles varies daily, and yes, daily, i.e. every single day!
