Once, I decided that I'd blog every single day, and then I just left that decision there, to rot. But today, as I fell down with a thud in front of one hundred people, something deep inside of me told me, that I had to blog. I don't know why, but the fall had something to do with this, all. Today, I come before you, not as a person who talks what crap happens to him in his day to day life, but rather a more wide aspect. Religion, caste or God moreover, who we are accustomed to worship earlier than we learned to speak. I remember saying all "Shlokas" by heart, but not knowing the meaning of a single of them. Now, when I look back, I think I was such a fool when I was a kid. Don't we all feel the same way? How stupid we were when kids, getting angry for no reason whatever and doing everything what elders tell us to. But as we grow and learn, we understand that its not the way shit works. How many of us know the actual meaning of what shlokas we blurted out in front of statues of Lord , Krishna, Ganesha and Saraswati.
My point is, people do not try to understand God, and so in that lazy behavior, they either stop worshiping the superior power, or turn into atheists. One thing about atheists is, they turn out to be very arrogant and they go all like, " We do not believe in God or whatever, f*ck you!". I simply do not understand, if they do not believe in God, why are they angry for no reason at all? Well, if you knew what the superior power is about, you'd not be angry as much as you are now. Food for thought.
Ultimately, it comes down to one thing, whether or not one should worship the almighty. If yes, why? Does something like that even exist? Or is it just the human brain acting all funny? Or is it just the ancestors that thought of acting crazy centuries ago and made up a new deity? Whatever the reason might be, Science, our predecessor still hasn't proved some shit yet. So what I believe is, till Science totally denies that God exists, or reveals all the secrets of the universe that even the brightest brains of the world are not able to decipher, would be the world I'll stop having faith in a superior power. Till then, I'd like to believe that there is a superior power, and that is what is controlling the universe or more over guiding our lives. Fair enough, atheists? Until then, it is in our hands to save the light of the supreme power in our hearts. Keeping reading people. :)
Hey Ashsih,
ReplyDeleteNice blog,Profound stuff!
You are right, science is yet to prove a lot of stuff and there's no wrong in believing in a superior power but i believe that it's a personal preference. But what does belief mean? Is it blindly performing certain rites and rituals? and does one become an Atheist if one doesn't want to perform these rituals blindly?
Here's what my interpretation is about god and religion. He's not someone with a animal head or someone with multiple heads. All these were symbols to remind people certain things, every time you pray, and to prevent you from going the wrong way. The current belief system, has been corrupted to a great extent, with people blindly following things.Making it easy to setting up religion based businesses.
People start labeling anyone who doesnt believe in these "traditions" as atheist. Any religion preaches basically to do good. So as long as you are not harming anyone and not causing trouble you are good, whether you believe in a superior being or not is a personal choice. Its better than knowingly committing a mistake and then begging for forgiveness from GOD!!
Exactly, belief in a superior power, the way I think has nothing to do with rituals. Somehow, our ancestors set a path that they thought was right at that time. I am unsure whether there is someone or something called the almighty, but I would like to work on it and prove to the world, that if there is any such thing, all it wants is good for the people.
DeleteMeanwhile, as I said, Atheists are just not people who stop believing in God, but Atheists are those who do not believe in God, and also make no effort to prove themselves right. If people do not know who or what God is, they must strive to know the power if it exists. If a person has done a considerate amount of rightful research and then has amounted a conclusion saying, God does not exist, then he could be called a rightful Atheist, until then we are all wandering souls, aren't we?
Thank you for your feedback anyways, I'd like to hear more from you. :)
